Went with my family to see Arsenal play Manchester United in North Beach this morning. Game time was 4:45 AM; alcohol sales weren’t legal until ten minutes into the second half. With Bay to Breakers coming up tomorrow, this means that I can justify drinking before dawn both days this weekend.
Our shirts say “Bay Area Gooners”, because Arsenal is the Gunners, and, well, fans are drinking pints at 6 AM. Words get slurred.
