This ad, omnipresent at all SF MUNI stations, suggests that the at-home fan experience watching Giants games on TV is just like attending the games themselves.  However, their decision to have the “At-Game Fan” wear sunglasses creates confusion.  When I look at this ad, I don’t think, “Oh, there’s a guy with half a pair of sunglasses on his face”; I think, “Why is that pirate wearing a Giants jersey?  Is that Barry Zito?  Is Barry Zito a pirate?  Are they saying, Barry Zito is a money-stealing brigand?”
OK, they might be saying that last one.
