First thing I see after deboarding in Philadelphia? A framed Bon Jovi jersey from Philly’s arena football team, the Soul. Jon Bon Jovi wears #3 because he considers himself “the Allen Iverson of the Young Guns II soundtrack.”
Other notes:
- There are three places to buy a cheese steak in Terminal C alone.
A woman at the Chick-Fil-A counter knocked over a dish full of ketchup packets, and I reflexively booed her.
You can already buy a plaque commemorating Roy Halladay’s no-hitter against the Reds. It’s a weird item for airport purchase, since it’s large, wooden, and heavy. I didn’t see anyone buy the Halladay, but the plaque commemorating Richie Sambora’s victory in the Rock-n-Jock softball challenge was selling briskly.
