I haven’t kept up with the “For Better or For Worse” reboot, but this particular strip is amazing because:
- John is reading a porno magazine.
- The magazine is called “Macho Man” (although the Comics Curmudgeon read it as “Nacho Man”).
- There’s an ad for “Lion Tamer Cologne”, which is a macho profession and scent that men fantasize about, I guess.
- The artist gave Elly a really big ass in this one, perhaps to provide contrast with the lovely fantasy objects of Macho Man.
I hope this scene makes it into the long-awaited For Better Or For Worse movie.
