  2. I will be refereeing “Kevins vs. Joes”, a comedy street fight taking place tonight at Delirium between the best local comics named Kevin, and the best local comics named Joe. Due to a Kevin-related cancellation, the show will also involve Julians, which I believe is Mexican for “Kevin”. Each Kevin, Joe, or Julian will be randomly assigned a place on the bill and a common household item to be used as a weapon. In between sets, there will be Kevin-Joe faceoffs. The show starts at 6, and it is free, but you should probably not wear anything that stains easily.Amir Malekpour delivered a comprehensive analysis over at SFStandup: Joe Tobin: Sharp wit, funny comedy, and an overall gentlemanly nature define this man. Until now, when Tobin trades in his gentlemanly nature, but still keeps the funny and the wit! He will battle his brother, the equally funny gentleman Kevin Munroe in a fight to the comedy death. The real question still remains … will this ruin the beautiful relationship Ebony and Irony have enjoyed for so long? There’s also Mission Mission, which calls the show a “bloodbath”, although that term understates the no-holds-barred elemental fury of this event. There’s also a rumor that Joe Gorman is going to get kicked in the nuts. The Delirium shows just got started, but it’s an ideal venue - cheap beer, centrally located, with a separate room in the back for comedy. I hope that this show will not only resolve the age-old feud between Kevins and Joes, but also provide a springboard for this room. Once we’ve buried the dead and hosed the blood off the floor, that is.
