I miss Pac.
If Pac was around I don’t think we’d be wearing these fucking skinny jeans and H&M boxer briefs like the bitch mades we have become in 2009.
Shock G came to the Punch Line a few months ago when Dave Chappelle was doing one of his four-hour shows. Those shows are pretty informal, and at one point, Dave and Shock G started chatting. Chappelle told Shock that the “satin on your panties” verse in “I Get Around” was one of his all-time favorites, though Shock admitted that Tupac wrote it.
Later, when Chappelle was struggling to figure out a good closer, so he could leave the stage on a big laugh, Shock stepped in and announced that Chappelle had a plane to catch, that he’d done great things, and he didn’t need that closer. “This man has done enough!” he said, to huge applause. Even though Chappelle subsequently did twenty more minutes, Shock G may have earned himself a lifetime spot on the guest list at the Punch. Also, I have a feeling he disapproves of boxer briefs.
